Job summary

Itezz Inc. in Annapolis, MD is seeking a hardware systems engineer to analyze complex hardware systems, architecture, and network design, with a required TS/SCI clearance.

You will also procure and perform acceptance testing on equipment and provide hardware maintenance support. Roles include deploying, installing, and implementing hardware at CONUS/OCONUS, preparing hardware specifications, site surveys, and engineering plans.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph.
• No demonstrated experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related discipline; 5 years network security engineering may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex systems, architecture, network design and other hardware issues.
• Procure and perform acceptance testing on equipment.
• Provide hardware maintenance, both preventative and remedial.
• Deploy, install, and implement hardware at CONUS and OCONUS.
• Prepare specifications for hardware by analyzing requirements; conduct site surveys.
• Prepare engineering plans and site Technical Design Packages.
• Organize and direct hardware installations; document configurations.
• Prepare site installation and test reports; ensure solutions meet user needs.
• Provide input to hardware components of system design (servers, network devices, storage, end-user devices).
