Job summary

Rackspace Technology in the United States is seeking a Network Security Engineer II to join the support infrastructure team, owning complex customer issues and keeping clients updated through every step of the process.

The role supports RackspaceCloud products, with hybrid work options (2 days in office, 3 days remote) when near an office, or 100% remote otherwise. Compensation reflects geographic markets and may include bonuses and ESPP opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical point of escalation to the Cloud Support and Engineering teams; resolving customer issues.
• Monitor and provide maintenance for all related infrastructure.
• Ensure the control, integrity, and accessibility of the cloud environment.
• Implements large, complex enterprise-class solutions.
• Lead tasks relating to system architecture enhancements, problem management, fleet.
• Lead Workload/Workforce Management and Optimization related tasks.
• Provide technical expertise underpinning communications targeting a range of stakeholders – from individual contributors to leaders across the business.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development Consultants to build strong customer relationships.
• Share knowledge with other Engineers and Administrators on the support floor.
