Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to deploy, configure, and manage security resources. You will document topology diagrams, troubleshoot connectivity, and work with network, desktop, and application teams to protect patient and staff data.

Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor’s in CS or related field, 3–6 years of networking/security experience, and certifications such as PCNSA, CCENT, Network+, or Security+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Entry-level networking and security certifications such as PCNSA, CCENT, Network+, Security+ preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience in configuring network devices and creating topology diagrams and documentation.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model and common ports.
• Familiarity with Active Directory Users and Groups and packet analysis tools.

• Participates in research, installation, configuration, and maintenance of security systems and services.
• Implements controls to protect information systems per guidelines.
• Provides unassisted support to stakeholders and end-users.
• Designs and plans advanced security systems and services.
