EFJohnson Technologies is seeking a Network Security Engineer in Irving, TX. The role focuses on designing, implementing and enforcing security architectures for mission-critical radio and data systems, aligned with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
• CCNP Security certification or equivalent required.
• CISSP, CySA+, or CISM preferred.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, IPS, AAA, and logging systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enforce network security architectures for mission-critical radio, data, and monitoring systems.
• Maintain security standards aligned with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2; support SSP/POA&M packages.
• Configure and manage IAM systems, MFA, and LDAP for centralized access control.
• Deploy and tune VPNs, NGFWs, IPS, and logging to protect CUI in transit and at rest.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with SOC to respond to incidents.
