Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Irvine, CA, seeks a Network Security Engineer focused on AI platforms to design and secure enterprise AI and GenAI traffic. You will secure AI workloads across Azure, AWS, and GCP, implement network segmentation, and manage firewalls, proxies, and cloud security controls.

The role requires 5–10 years in network security, hands-on firewall/proxy experience, and familiarity with IDS/IPS, SIEM integration, and AI security risks.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Network Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security or Cyber Security Engineering.
• Experience securing AI and GenAI platforms including Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, and custom AI workloads.
• Strong understanding of network design concepts such as network segmentation, Zero Trust, SASE and SDP.
• Experience with IDS/IPS and threat prevention technologies; familiarity with EDR/XDR and SIEM integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures supporting enterprise AI and GenAI platforms.
• Secure AI traffic flows between users, applications, cloud services, and external AI providers.
• Implement network segmentation and Zero Trust controls to protect AI environments.
• Configure and manage firewalls, proxies, VPNs, SWGs, and cloud security controls.
• Develop security controls for AI platform connectivity, APIs, and data exchanges.
• Monitor network activity to detect unauthorized AI usage and anomalous traffic.
• Investigate and respond to network security incidents affecting AI applications and infrastructure.
• Perform security assessments and architecture evaluations for AI deployments.
• Collaborate with Cloud, AI Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security Operations teams to ensure secure AI adoption.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Network Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or Cyber Security Engineering.
