Job summary

ELPEN Pharmaceutical Co. Inc. is seeking a Network & Security Engineer to design and protect our network infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments. The role emphasizes secure architecture, threat prevention, and performance monitoring.

You will configure firewalls, VPNs, and cloud connectivity, while maintaining security policies and documentation. Collaboration with Systems/Cloud teams is essential for safe integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Informatics, or related field.
Master's degree will be considered a plus.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching.
Experience with enterprise firewall.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Experience with Azure networking (VNETs, VPN Gateway).
Strong experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and network segmentation architectures.
Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs (site-to-site & remote), and secure access solutions.
Monitor and respond to network security events and incidents.
Implement and maintain network security policies.
Manage secure connectivity with cloud environments (Azure networking).
Perform network performance monitoring and capacity planning.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for security/network incidents.
Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO, NIS2, GxP where applicable).
Collaborate with Systems/Cloud team for secure infrastructure integration.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.

About The Role

Network & Security Engineer

is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure and security systems. The role focuses on secure network architecture, threat prevention, and monitoring, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of corporate connectivity across onprem and cloud environments.
