Job Title: Security Engineer

Job Summary:

• Join our client’s team as a Security Engineer, where you’ll play a crucial role in network security operations and policy management. This hybrid position allows you to work both remotely and in our client’s Pittsburgh office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement firewall rules using Fortinet FortiGate, Azure Firewall, and AWS Security Groups.
• Utilize AlgoSec for policy management and compliance checks across cloud environments.
• Analyze network traffic to optimize firewall rule sets, ensuring security and performance.
• Conduct audits and optimizations of firewall rules to remove redundancies.
• Troubleshoot firewall issues using packet captures and logs.
• Collaborate with teams to align firewall policies with business and compliance standards.

Skills Required:

• 3-5 years of experience with Fortinet, Azure, and AWS security tools.
• Fortinet certifications (NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 7) or equivalent cloud certifications.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security concepts.
