ABN AMRO Clearing USA LLC is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our global security perimeter. The role focuses on firewall rules, VPNs, and secure network design while coordinating with data centers and application owners.
The position is based in Chicago with a minimum of three onsite days per week and occasional on-call nights and weekends. Strong collaboration across teams is required, along with a security-by-design mindset and ownership of tasks.

Job Overview:
The Network Security Engineer will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining the global network and perimeter security infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with the rest of the organization to ensure a secure design and efficient implementation considering reliability, performance and supportability.
The engineer will focus on reviewing, analyzing and implementing firewall requests on the existing internal and external security perimeter, the evolution and maintenance of the perimeter and the improvement of the security setup from a networking viewpoint considering the end to end data flow.
The engineer will co-operate with our data center outsourcing partner on optimizing their core security perimeter and align the core security, perimeter security, security tools and data flows throughout the environment.
This position is based in our Chicago office and requires a min of 3 days per week onsite in office and occasional on-call avaliabitly on nights and weekends.

Below is the expected base salary for this position. Offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process. This position will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
Annual base salary, not including discretionary bonus eligibility: $110,000+
