Job summary

Allied Personnel Services seeks a Network & Security Administrator for a temporary 3-month assignment in Pennsylvania. Hours are 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri, with a pay rate of $26.73/hr.

You will install, configure, and support LAN/WAN/WLAN and cybersecurity infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable network operations on campus. The role requires hands-on enterprise network experience, CLI administration (ArubaOS/ArubaCX/Comware), and Palo Alto or similar next-gen firewalls, plus lifting up to 50 lbs and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of enterprise network and/or cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with CLI administration is required (ArubaOS/ArubaCX/Comware).
• Experience with Palo Alto or other next-gen firewalls is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and access tight server closets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multi-vendor network and security equipment.
• Provide network support, manage cybersecurity, and identify solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation including network and cybersecurity diagrams.
• Proactively monitor networks and cybersecurity alerts to detect/resolve threats.
• Assist in executing campus wide IT security awareness programs.
• Perform physical cabling including terminating, testing, labeling and dressing Ethernet cables (Cat5e/Cat6).
• Mount switches, routers, firewalls, and power distribution systems into server racks.

• Ability to lift and position equipment up to 50lbs and comfort on ladders or in tight server closets is a must.
