Job description

We’re looking for a Network Administrator to manage a system that will enable DoD organizations to utilize LAN and WAN network services.

As a well-rounded Network Administrator on our project, you’ll support maintenance activities, including evaluation, integration, fielding, administration, testing, and operations of networks, including monitoring networks, documenting and maintaining network topologies, maintaining reports and logs, ensuring the functionality of links, and resolving tickets and incidents.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving LAN and WAN performance, connectivity, security, and network problems
  • Experience with coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades
  • Ability to manage systems using security information and event management (SIEM) systems, endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and tools used in support of zero trust
  • Ability to interface and effectively communicate with customers at all levels, guide and support decision making
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience as a Network Administrator, or Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field and 3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience managing Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco networking equipment
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • CCNA Certification
  • IAT Level II Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
