Parsons is seeking a highly skilled engineer to reverse engineer embedded systems, develop embedded C software, and conduct vulnerability research to support national security missions. You will work on-site at a contractor facility within a small, expert team and collaborate with senior SMEs to grow technically.

The role requires TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance, extensive experience in RE/VR, and the ability to contribute to defensive capabilities for critical missions.

• 10+ years of software engineering (C, Python) / reverse engineering / vulnerability research experience or 3 years with a Master’s Degree.
• Experience with Reverse Engineering.
• Experience with Vulnerability Research.

Job Description:

Are you looking to make great use of your Network Devices reverse engineering (RE) and vulnerability research (VR) skills, while continuing to sharpen them? If you're hungry to support an amazing mission, work as a team to leverage your skills to make a difference and learn from / collaborate with our existing Network Devices / vulnerability research / reverse engineering subject matter experts, we have the perfect position for you to help start a new stage of your career at Parsons!

You'll get the opportunity to do RE, VR, and prototype development to support a critical customer mission and develop much needed capabilities. You'll get to work at the customer site,integrated into the customer's team which includes several subject matter experts, learning from their mentorship to grow your skills and support our customer's mission. Your Network Devices and CNO skills will be stretched to the limit as you utilize your creativity to discover new solutions to problems, implement capabilities, and help better protect our country.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct reverse engineering of embedded systems, binaries, and firmware.

What Skills You'll Bring:

• TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is required
• 10+ years of software engineering (C, Python) / reverse engineering / vulnerability research experience (or 3 years' experience with a Master's Degree)
• Experience with Reverse Engineering
• Experience with Vulnerability Research

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with vulnerability research (e.g., exploit development, fuzzing, or security analysis of embedded systems)
• Familiarity with common RE tools and environments (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, binary analysis platforms)
• Experience in CNO or related cybersecurity operations

Security Clearance Requirement:

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
