Job summary

Five Rivers IT, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Deployment Manager to lead a comprehensive network refresh, including server upgrades, firewall changes, and related infrastructure modernization.

You will coordinate multiple pods and workstreams, manage schedules, RAID logs, and budgets while minimizing business disruption. The ideal candidate brings hands-on program management experience with network engineers, security teams, and vendors, and can drive cross-functional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, with IT infrastructure exposure.
• Experience managing multi-team / multi-pod projects with interdependent workstreams.
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts (firewalls, routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs) and data center ops.
• Experience planning and executing cutover events or infrastructure refresh cycles with minimal downtime.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate technical details for executives.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana) and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project plan for full network refresh, including servers and firewalls.
• Organize multiple pods/work streams across sites ensuring alignment of scope and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules, RAID logs, and budgets.
• Coordinate cutover windows, maintenance schedules, and downtime planning with minimal disruption.
• Serve as primary liaison between technical pods, stakeholders, and leadership; provide status updates.
