Job summary

Infosys Technologies is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Ashburn, VA to contribute across the full SDLC with hands-on coding and system integration. You will document requirements, participate in design discussions, and help deliver scalable software solutions.

You will review code, implement test strategies, and support production stability. The role may require relocation or travel within the United States and requires US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of education.
• Position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements per guidance.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for the tech team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates while maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth transitions to new software.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich knowledge base.
