Job summary

Zodiac Solutions, Inc. is seeking a senior network engineer to lead large-scale data-center deployments and edge-to-core routing.

You will design and provision networks using Juniper, Arista, Cisco, and FBOSS, with strong emphasis on BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, and optical provisioning. Responsibilities include 24x7 coverage in Albany area, coordinating with field technicians, operations, and engineering, and maintaining deployment playbooks while ensuring production readiness across multi-vendor

Qualifications

• CCNA/CCNP or JNCIA/JNCIS required.
• CCIE Certification is mandatory.
• Hands-on with at least one major vendor platform (Juniper/Arista/Cisco).
• Experience in large-scale deployments (100+ devices).
• On-site at New Albany, Ohio; remote not available.

Responsibilities

• Execute SOLO provisioning workflows for new rack deployments.
• Provision fabric switches, backbone routers, and service equipment.
• Configure devices using Client’s tools with correct network parameters.
• Perform HPRv3 provisioning for AI compute racks and circuit provisioning.
• Manage software updates and production readiness checks.
• Document deployment blockers and update internal dashboards.

Job description

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, data center deployment, or network operations
• Experience provisioning enterprise/hyperscale network devices at scale
• Hands-on experience with at least one major vendor platform (Juniper/Arista/Cisco)
• Experience with large-scale network deployments (100+ device environments)
• Understanding of data center power/cooling constraints and physical infrastructure

Certifications

• CCNA/CCNP (Cisco) or JNCIA/JNCIS (Juniper) (Required)

• Vendor-specific certifications for optical platforms (Ciena, Infinera) (Preferred)

Shift & Work Model

Location

On-site at New Albany,Ohio (Eastern Time).Remote work is not available for this role.

Coverage

24×7 across three 8-hour shifts. Assignment may include any of: Day

Pattern

5 days on / 2 days off; 40 hrs / week.

Compensation

Shift differentials apply for Swingand Graveyard shiftsper company policy.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute SOLO (Single-Operation Logical Onboarding) provisioning workflows for new rack deployments
• Provision networkdevices including fabric switches, backbonerouters and generalservice equipment OOB devices and Circuits
• Configure devices using Client’s tools with appropriate network parameters
• Perform HPRv3 (High Power Rack) provisioning for AI compute racks
• Execute circuit provisioning for peering, backbone, and intra-DC connectivity
• Manage network software updates and upgrades per release schedules
• Support PON (Passive Optical Network) OLT provisioning and activation

2. Activation & Production Readiness

• Transition equipment from provisioned state to activation
• Execute undrain procedures to bring network into production
• Complete Production Readiness checklist sign-off which includes:
• Physical quality audit confirmation
• Coordinate with Network Operations for operational handoff
• Support partial activations and L1-zone-by-zone activation approaches during accelerated deployments

3. Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting

• Perform logical testing and performance validation post-provisioning
• Execute circuit QA/QC loopback testing in coordination with field teams
• Troubleshoot router/switches’ uplink failures, device provisioning issues, and circuit-level problems
• Identify and escalation design/BOM discrepancies
• Remediate provisioning fallout from pre-integrated rack workflows
• Document and report on deployment blockers via Client’s ticketing system

4. Documentation & Process

• Maintain deployment playbooks for assigned regions
• Update BOM’s with as-built configuration data
• Contribute to runbook development
• Track and report deployment progress via client’s internal dashboard
• Support post-deployment audits and remediation activities
