Job description

*Description*

This client is seeking a Network Operations Technician to join their NOC team in a 2nd shift role. This is a hybrid position, ideal for someone interested in transitioning into the Security space. The technician will collaborate with other team members, handle escalation calls from the service desk, and work with NOC Engineers. During training, different shifts may be required until the candidate can work independently.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Monitoring all supported platforms following established routines.
2. Ensuring stable operating environments and optimal system utilization.
3. Operating and monitoring console systems and peripheral devices such as printers and disk drives.
4. Performing routine technical procedures, managing ad hoc jobs in the Enterprise Job Scheduler, user administration, participating in disaster recovery exercises, and conducting code promotions.
5. Providing first-level support calls to assist the Service Desk.
6. Maintaining documentation.
