Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support enterprise network infrastructure across campus environments, including wired and wireless systems. You will diagnose issues, perform field deployments, and maintain runbooks and diagrams.

Collaboration with security, engineering, and vendor teams is essential for reliable services. The role emphasizes on-call involvement, incident response, and adherence to ITIL-like processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in enterprise network technologies (switching, routing, wireless, TCP/IP).
  • 2+ years configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/Fortinet devices.
  • 2+ years diagnosing connectivity, performance, and security issues with standard methods.
  • 2+ years with firewalls, VPNs, access controls, security best practices.
  • 2+ years installing and supporting network hardware including field deployment (racking, stacking, cabling).
  • 2+ years maintaining network diagrams, runbooks, and documentation.
  • 2+ years experience with OSPF, BGP, VLANs, spanning tree, high availability.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure across campus environments.
  • Perform field installation and deployment of network equipment, including testing switches.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues; escalate when needed and participate in on-call.
  • Perform routine maintenance with upgrades, patches, and config changes.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, incident records, and runbooks; collaborate with teams.
