Job Summary

The position involves supporting enterprise network transport operations, focusing on the installation, configuration, and performance analysis of transport network technologies. The role includes maintaining various transport networks such as Fiber Optic Cable, DWDM, and microwave systems, while also participating in a rotating on-call schedule for 24x7 support.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Install, configure, and analyze performance of transport network technologies.
• Operate and maintain transport networks including Fiber Optic Cable, DWDM, Ciena, Nokia, Ribbon, Icons, Microwave (Aviat), and P25 radio systems.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues and projects.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide continuous support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of transport network solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
• Monitor network performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Assist in planning and executing network upgrades and expansions.

What We're Looking For:

Infrastructure Engineer Associate (SG5):

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience: No additional experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Infrastructure Engineer (SG6):

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Nice-to-have:

• At least two years of direct support experience in Transport Operations within a large enterprise environment, preferably in the utility or energy sector.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITIL processes is a plus.
• Experience with various transport networks and network monitoring and management tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Infrastructure Engineer (SG6): $72,380.00-$90,474
