PCN (PC Network Inc.) is seeking a Networking Professional with DNS, DHCP and IPAM (DDI) expertise to join a work-from-home team in Canada. The role emphasizes managing DDI platforms, handling production changes, and delivering accurate technical documentation.

The ideal candidate has strong Linux, BIND, DHCP/DNS, and AD experience, plus familiarity with BlueCat and Infoblox. Remote work is offered, with on-call rotations as needed.

• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft DNS & DHCP.

Responsabilidades

• Review and validate change requests from customers.
• Collaborate with requestors to refine forms as needed.
• Test change requests in lab environments.
• Implement and validate changes in production.
• Automate processes and requests with scripts.
• Provide technical information for customer service requests.
• Respond to monitoring alerts and customer incidents.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP issues.
• Maintain changes using PCN MACD methodologies.
• Plan, test, and implement patches/upgrades in production.
• Generate monthly customer-facing operational reports.
• Train and lead teammates when required.
• Suggest process and technical improvements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of DDI management processes and best practices.
• Five or more years network, systems administration, and DDI Experience.
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
• Strong technical documentation skills (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
• Expertise with Linux.
• Expertise with ISC BIND.
• Expertise with ISC DHCP.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft DNS & DHCP.
• Recent and strong background with BlueCat. Ideally BlueCat certified.
• Working to strong background with Infoblox and Diamond IP. Ideally Infoblox and/or Diamond IP certified.
• Experience using a centralized ticketing system such as ServiceNow or Remedy.

Duties

• Review change request forms submitted by customers to validate accuracy and identify issues with implementation.
• Collaborate with requestors to refine request forms, when required.
• Test change requests in lab, when required.
• Implement and validate changes in production.
• Compile and execute scripts to automate processes and requests.
• Provide technical information in support of customer service requests.
• Respond, investigate, and troubleshoot monitoring alerts and customer raised incidents.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP related configuration, service issues, and problems.
• Track changes using PCN MACD methodologies and systems.
• Plan, test in lab, and implement patches and/or upgrades in production for DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP infrastructure.
• Generate monthly customer facing operational reports.
• Train and lead future teammates, when required.
• Make recommendations for process and technical improvements.
• Work closely and effectively with customers, partners, Suppliers, and team members to provide exceptional customer service.
• Participate in on-call rotation, as required.
• Execute evening & weekend changes, as agreed within team.
