Job Description

TEKsystems is seeking a NOC Technician to focus on Network Monitoring and Ticket Resolution for a 3-month+ contract. The role involves on-shift surveillance, management, troubleshooting, and resolution of the company’s Wireless Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment and/or Core Transport Network to ensure high network availability.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor network and network elements; investigate and resolve network alarms and events.
  2. Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance; respond to outages and work with technical teams to restore service.
  3. Provide technical training and oversight to junior technicians.
  4. Interact professionally with customers, employees, and vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
  5. Compile reports and notifications on network status; initiate disaster recovery actions if needed.
Qualifications
  • CCNA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in telecommunications.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSI model, troubleshooting, and ticketing/network monitoring systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to train and guide less experienced personnel.
Additional Skills
  • Experience with HFC/Cable Modem/Harmonic items is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks based on work volume.
Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, employee assistance, and PTO.

Workplace & Duration

This is a fully onsite position in Denver, CO. The position is anticipated to close on May 21, 2025.
