Job summary

Arcarithm is seeking a Network Monitoring Analyst (NMA) in Colorado Springs to monitor the C2BMC network systems in a 24x7 environment and provide first-line troubleshooting for the warfighter.

The role requires DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher, with TS/SCI preferred. A 12-hour shift may include nights and weekends, and there is potential for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network monitoring and management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and network diagnostics.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware) and remote access protocols.
• Experience with Windows Server maintenance and basic networking commands.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily system operations and maintain C2BMC network systems in a 24x7 environment.
• Provide first level technical support to warfighters and troubleshoot local network hardware/software.
• Document events/issues and coordinate with CWO and CCC for tasks.
• Assist in network hardware/software installations and manage user accounts per ISSO guidance.
• Maintain DoD 8140 certification for the contract duration.
• Perform shift duties including nights/weekends as required.

Job Title: Network Monitoring Analyst (NMA)

Level: T4

Required Clearance Level: Secret

Position Responsibilities:

• The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of the C2BMC network systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment.
• The candidate will provide first level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC network hardware and software.
• The candidate will document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test & real-world events.
• The candidate will also assist in all network hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
• Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP).
• Candidate will be responsible to maintain DoD 8140 certification for the full contract period.
• Candidate will be assigned to a 12 hr shift, to be determined by mission requirements. S
• Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends will be required.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required

Basic Qualifications:

• Sound knowledge of Network concepts: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network management and monitoring
• Sound knowledge of management and monitoring tools and techniques for various network infrastructure components and services
• Knowledge of monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools - Virtualization technologies such a VMWare vCenter and vSphere
• Sound knowledge and practical experience with remote access software such as SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP
• Sound knowledge with OSPF, Cisco IOS and JUNOS commands and troubleshooting
• Experience in Windows Server maintenance
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• TS/SCI Preferred
• Knowledge and practical experience in the usage of network management tools
• Familiarity with encryption devices, specifically TACLANEs
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix Server maintenance
• Experience in liaising with other DoD Agencies and associated network operations organizations

Education Required:

• Generally has 1+ years of related experience and may have a postsecondary degree or training in a related discipline.
