Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking a Network Monitoring Analyst in Colorado Springs to support 24x7 network operations for a DoD customer. The role requires an active Secret clearance and hands-on work with monitoring tools and virtualization.

The position involves on-site duties, rotating shifts, and collaboration with the CCC and ISSO. Prior DoD experience and IAT Level II qualifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification.
• 1+ year of related experience or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP and network monitoring.
• Experience with network management tools and monitoring software.
• Familiarity with SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP remote access.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware vCenter, vSphere).
• Knowledge of OSPF, Cisco IOS and JUNOS commands.
• Experience with Windows Server and basic Linux/Unix tasks.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance in a 24x7 environment.
• Provide first level technical support to the warfighter and troubleshoot local network hardware/software.
• Document and report events to the Watch Officer; receive tasking from CCC.
• Assist in network hardware/software installations and manage user accounts as directed by SMEs/ISSO.
• Work rotating 24x7 shifts; 12-hour shifts determined by mission needs.
• Occasional off-shift coverage including nights and weekends.
• Perform other duties as required.

I2X Technologies is seeking a Network Monitoring Analyst to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs. This position will be on-siteand will require an active *Secret clearance.

• The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the Watch Officer (CWO) and performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of the network systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment.
• The candidate will provide first level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local network hardware and software.
• The candidate will document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test & real world events.
• The candidate will also assist in all network hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO
• Position requires rotating 24x7 shift work.
• Candidate will be assigned to a 12 hr shift, to be determined by mission requirements.
• Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends will be required.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• IAT - Level II certification (Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP)
• Generally has 1+ years of related experience and may have a postsecondary degree or training in a related discipline.
• Sound knowledge of Network concepts: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network management and monitoring
• Sound knowledge of management and monitoring tools and techniques for various network infrastructure components and services
• Knowledge of monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools
• Virtualization technologies such a VMWare vCenter and vSphere
• Sound knowledge and practical experience with remote access software such as SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP
• Sound knowledge with OSPF, Cisco IOS and JUNOS commands and troubleshooting
• Experience in Windows Server maintenance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• TS/SCI Preferred
• Knowledge and practical experience in the usage of network management tools
• Familiarity with encryption devices, specifically TACLANEs
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix Server maintenance
• Experience in liaising with other DoD Agencies and associated network operations organizations
