Job summary

Ventures Unlimited Inc. seeks a Global Network Lead to own the strategy, design, and operation of the organization’s worldwide network infrastructure.

You will provide technical leadership for enterprise networking across data centers, cloud environments, and offices globally, coordinating a team of network engineers and service providers. The role requires overseeing high availability, performance, and security, while defining standards and driving modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Must demonstrate strategic vision for global network architecture and governance.
  • Proven track record leading cross-regional network teams and outsourcing partners.
  • Experience managing incidents, problems, and change management processes at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, cloud networking, and zero-trust concepts.
  • Hands-on understanding of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS in large enterprise networks.
  • Expertise in data center networking and network security practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure 24x7 availability of enterprise network services.
  • Oversee LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, VPN, and data center operations.
  • Manage incidents, problems, and change management processes.
  • Act as executive escalation point for P1/P2 incidents.
  • Define and execute the global network roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Lead network transformation initiatives including cloud, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust.
  • Establish network standards, policies, and best practices across regions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and modernization of network infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor global network engineering and operations teams.
  • Define KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics; conduct performance reviews.
  • Drive knowledge management and technical skill development.
  • Lead integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with infrastructure, security, cloud, and apps teams.
  • Ensure proactive problem management and root cause analysis.
  • Deliver regular executive reports and service reviews.

Job description

  • Good understanding on SDWAN routing switching, ACI fabric, Wi-Fi firewall, Zscaler MFA and cloud network (AWS and Azure)

  • Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
  • Drive knowledge management and technical skill development.
  • Lead network integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.
  • Ensure proactive problem management and root cause analysis.
  • Deliver regular executive reports and service reviews.

The Global Network Lead is responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, operation, security, and governance of the organization's global network infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership for enterprise networking, ensures high availability and performance across data centers, cloud environments, and offices across all regions, and leads a team of network engineers and service providers coordination.
