Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Network Lead with a Top Secret Clearance, Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experienceto provide information technology support to Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Management Area Services (IMAS).

Responsibilities

As a Network Lead, you will:

• Facilitate the digital transformation of PAE Fires. This includes the adoption and integration of advanced digital technologies, processes, and practices to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and overall mission effectiveness.Conducts testing of network design.
• Responsible f or monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options.
• Plans implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.
• Advises network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
• Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
• Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
