Job summary

Abbott is seeking an on-site technical specialist to support the Diabetes Care division by troubleshooting, training customers, and optimizing workflows. You will travel about 75% to assist with LibreView setup, workflow, and EHR engagement, representing Abbott at events as needed.

The role emphasizes direct customer interaction, technical leadership, and collaboration with regional directors and sales teams to drive successful implementations and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree plus 4 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution per product and customer specs.
• Assesses product needs per customer specifications.
• Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives.
• Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.
• Meets with Regional Director, District Managers, and sales reps to assist customers with LibreView set up, workflow, and optimization.
• Presents and provides integral information and support in the EHR engagement process.
• Represents Abbott at Conference/Trade Shows including occasional weekend coverage.

The Opportunity

This position is within the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

What You’ll Work On

• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.
• Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
• Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives.
• Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.
• Meets with assigned Regional Director, District Managers, and sales representatives to assist customers with LibreView set up, workflow, and optimization.
• Presents and provides integral information and support in the EHR engagement process.
• Represents Abbott at Conference/Trade Shows including occasional weekend coverage.
• Travel - 75%.
• This is an individual contributor role.

Required Qualifications

Associates Degree plus 4 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with medical device sales and service
• Experience with EPIC

The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
