Job summary
Nokia is seeking a Resident Engineer in the United States to lead the integration and deployment of cutting-edge Nokia FTTx, SDAN, and Wi‑Fi solutions. You will plan, design, and execute system integrations and network deployments, while managing legacy transitions to deliver reliable and innovative connectivity for customers.

Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or other relevant field; 3+ years professional work experience.
- Experience with access technologies such as GPON, XGS-PON, 25G, 50G, or DSL.
- Familiarity with Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols.
Responsibilities
- System Integration & Verification: planning, design, and execution.
- Network Deployment Detailed Design: creating configuration templates, IP addressing, VLAN, capacity and QoS plans.
- Network Element Integration: updating documentation, software updates, connectivity to EMS, testing alarms, timing, synchronization, redundancy, call flows, services, and country-specific tests.
- Migration Execution & Legacy Exit: planning and managing migration activities including decommissioning obsolete equipment.
- IT Integration: OSS integration with EMS and provisioning/fault management.
