Key Responsibilities

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment.
• Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material‑handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for >41 pounds.
• Work in a 24/7 environment with primary responder rotation and after‑hours support.
• Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.

Essential Requirements

• Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as needed.
• Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods or until base facility becomes operational.
• Travel frequency will vary based on business needs and operational status of assigned facility.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.
• 18+ months of experience in a data center or similar technical environment.
• 18+ months experience with network cabling, optical types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, OTDR).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience in IT‑related field.
• Certifications in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA).
• Behavioral interviewing and hiring experience.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

A base salary range of 30.00 – 54.00 USD hourly (USA, NV, Sparks). Your package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
