Network Infrastructure Engineer Intern job at AMERICAN FOODS GROUP LLC. Green Bay, WI.

Location: American Foods Group, LLC - Technology Center (Green Bay, WI). Internship Dates: Full Time for approximately 12 weeks (May - August).

Responsibilities

• As a Network Infrastructure Engineer Intern, assist the team with designing, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and securing networks.
• Assist with research of emerging technologies to assess fit for business needs and deploy technology per written designs in line with company and industry standards.
• Develop and review project testing and implementation plans and project timelines.
• Participate in capacity and performance management of existing infrastructure.
• Identify and analyze possible threats and vulnerabilities; embed security standards and monitor adherence to them.
• Follow security architecture standards, framework, and guidelines.
• Emphasize infrastructure security best practices and ensure adoption across corporate solutions.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of detailed disaster recovery plans to ensure backup solutions for all infrastructure elements (data and systems).
• Provide technical support and guidance to users.
• Lead in troubleshooting network and server performance issues.
• Participate in infrastructure strategy and continuous improvement planning as needed.
