Job summary

The Marvin Group in Inglewood, CA is seeking a hands-on Network Administrator to install, configure, monitor, and maintain our LAN infrastructure with a strong focus on switching. You will collaborate with senior network staff to ensure security, performance, and scalability across our data and office networks.

Responsibilities include setting up Aruba/HP/Cisco switches, performing firmware upgrades, managing IDF installations, and documenting topology and configurations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in network administration or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Certifications in Cisco/Aruba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network switches (Aruba, HP, Cisco).
• Monitor and maintain switch performance and reliability.
• Assist with switch configuration and upgrades.
• Manage IDF installations and cable organization.
• Troubleshoot escalated tickets and outages.
• Configure VLAN, STP, and LACP; basic routing and firewall support.
• Document network configurations and topology; support security compliance.
