Job summary

Mississippi Department of Revenue Office of Information Technology is seeking a senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise fabrics, including Cisco ACI-based data centers and SDA architectures across statewide networks.

The role requires hands-on expertise in ACI, EPGs, ISE, SD-Access, and observability platforms, with strong communication to support mission-critical systems and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience with Cisco networking.
• Hands-on Cisco ACI in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of ACI constructs (VRF, BD, EPG, ESG, L3Out, contracts).
• Experience integrating ACI with OpenShift VMM and Cilium/Isovalent.
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst platforms and SDA fabric technologies.
• Experience administering Cisco ISE including TACACS+ and policy-based NAC.
• Strong observability tool experience (ThousandEyes, Cyber Vision, DNA Spaces).
• Solid TCP/IP, routing, switching, QoS, and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Cisco Nexus platforms running ACI mode.
• Integrate ACI with OpenShift and Isovalent/Cilium.
• Configure RoCEv2 within the ACI fabric for high performance workloads.
• Troubleshoot ACI fabric health, faults, and multi-tenant segmentation.
• Develop and maintain fabric documentation, standards, and runbooks.
• Design and support SDA fabric architectures and underlay/overlay networks.
• Configure and administer Cisco ISE for TACACS+ and NAC policy sets.
• Support Zero Trust through identity-centric segmentation across fabrics.
• Deploy ThousandEyes and Cisco Cyber Vision for visibility and security.
