Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and building enterprise-level network architectures.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting production networks built with Cisco platforms.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing (static, OSPF, BGP, policy-based), Firewalls (zones and ACLs), SSH, VPNs.
• Familiarity with network management tools such as SolarWinds.
• Understanding of IPv4 networks and network device hardening best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft, Unix and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment (Cisco routers, switches, firewalls).
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and optimize performance.
• Monitor and resolve network-related service tickets.
• Maintain SOPs and network design documentation.

You will support the customer's data communications network; maintain the network hardware and software as well as monitor the network to ensure availability to all system users; and perform the necessary maintenance to support network availability.
