CA CI International Inc. at Fort Bragg, NC seeks an experienced CSfC Network Engineer to support national level requirements. You will oversee the Archon CSfC solution, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive upgrades to maintain NSA CSfC Accreditation.

You must be a U.S. citizen with TS/SCI (CI Poly preferred) and have 5+ years of network engineering experience with relevant certifications. The role includes local travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent networking experience.
• Certifications: Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP-DCV, CompTIA Security+ CE, DoD 8570 IAT II+.
• 5+ years of experience implementing complex network solutions.
• Experience with VPN, PKI, CSfC architectures and network security.

Job Title: CSfC Network EngineerJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCIEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: Local* * *The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced CSfC Network Engineer providing critical support to national level requirement at Ft Bragg, NC.Responsibilities:Responsible for providing oversight on the Archon Multi-Site CSfC connectivity solution and working with a team of engineers who will be responsible for maintaining the health of the overall customer solution. This includes troubleshooting advanced solution issues, understanding/designing viable solutions for emerging mission requirements and, directing solution upgrades and maintenance activities to ensure the Archon solution preserves its NSA CSfC Accreditation.Qualifications:Required:Must be a U.S. Citizenship and have an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (preferred)Minimum Experience of 5 years; Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university or extensive experience with implementing complex network solutions.Certifications: Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP-DCV, and CompTIA Security+ CEDoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher requiredResponsible for providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.Establishes networking environment by managing system configuration; assisting in system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.Provides detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.Configures and installs various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS). Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.Knowledge of Virtual Private Network (VPN) security .Experience with deploying and troubleshooting Site to Site VPNsUnderstands and applies best practices for certificate authority management and PKIs.Conducts testing of network systems. Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.Performs network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations. Works with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.Knowledge of communication methods, principles, and concepts (e.g., crypto, dual hubs, time multiplexers) that support the network infrastructure.Knowledge of capabilities and applications of network equipment including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, transmission media, and related hardware.Knowledge of local area and wide area networking principles and concepts including bandwidth management.Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, Dynamic Host Configuration, Domain Name System (DNS), and directory services.Knowledge of how traffic flows across the network (e.g., Transmission Control Protocol [TCP] and Internet Protocol [IP], Open System Interconnection Model [OSI], Information Technology Infrastructure Library, current version [ITIL]).Knowledge of server administration and systems engineering theories, concepts, and methods.Knowledge of key telecommunications concepts (e.g., Routing Algorithms, Fiber Optics Systems Link Budgeting.Skill in implementing and testing network infrastructure contingency and recovery plans.Skill in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting LAN and WAN components such as routers and switches.Ability to operate common network tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, nslookup).Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software (e.g., IOS, firmware).
