Job summary

Bayforce, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

The role also focuses on network optimization and supporting manufacturing expansion initiatives. Responsibilities include designing WAN/LAN/WLAN/cloud solutions, leading troubleshooting, monitoring performance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of network engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and travel as required.
• CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.
• Experience with SD-WAN/SD-LAN, F5 load balancers, and multi-site manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain WAN, LAN, WLAN, and cloud network solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex network issues and outages.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, capacity, and availability.
• Assist in network design for new sites and upgrades.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Conduct network audits, failover testing, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standards.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.
• Mentor Network Engineer I team members.
• Support vendor selection, evaluation, and implementation.

Duration: 3-6 months with possible CTH

Preferred Location: Local to Cleveland,OH in the office 3 days a week

Role Description:

Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance. Contribute to network optimization and support Manufacturing expansion initiatives.

• Design, implement, and maintain WAN, LAN, WLAN, and cloud network solutions
• Lead troubleshooting of complex network issues and outages
• Monitor and optimize network performance, capacity, and availability
• Assist in network design for new sites and upgrades
• Execute deployment, configuration, and testing activities
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors
• Conduct network audits, failover testing, and disaster recovery exercises
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standards
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams
• Mentor Network Engineer I team members
• Support vendor selection, evaluation, and implementation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of network engineering experience
• Strong experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation
