Job summary

Forged Fiber in Minnesota is hiring a Network Implementation Engineer I to support OSP network design, financial processes, and regulatory coordination across multiple projects. You will manage engineering requests, coordinate with vendors, city officials, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree and 4–7 years telecom or network planning experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience.
• Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments.
• Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections for accuracy and construction readiness.
• Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and use AutoCAD/CAD, Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and MS Office.
• Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on requirements and timelines.
• Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and update records as needed.
