Responsibilities
  • Install and turn-up networks in the Network Factory and on customer premises
  • Deploy DWDM and MPLS networks to Telcordia GR-1275 standard
  • Conduct site surveys
  • Travel extensively to deploy, troubleshoot, and performance test optical networks
  • Analyze complex problems and present effective solutions
  • Adapt quickly to changes in project scope and responsibility
  • Maintain as-built documentation and interface with customers’ engineering staff on site
  • Mentor Associate Field Technicians
Skills/Must have
  • Extensive experience installing networks to the highest quality standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and engineering graphing tools
  • Ability to understand and edit technical documents
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on thoroughness and accuracy
