Job summary

IT Resources in Clearwater, FL is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a diverse managed services environment. This onsite role involves troubleshooting complex infrastructure, engaging with customers, and balancing multiple priorities.

The role requires CCNA-level knowledge with strong Cisco routing/switching skills and experience across WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, and firewall administration. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; some after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• CCNA-level networking knowledge or equivalent hands-on Cisco experience.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Hands-on SD-WAN, VPNs, VLANs, QoS, and firewall administration.
• Experience in managed services or enterprise data centers with multiple priorities.
• Windows Server, virtualization, and related infrastructure familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support, troubleshoot, and maintain complex network and infrastructure environments across multiple customer environments.
• Configure and support Cisco-based routing, switching, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, VPNs, VLANs, QoS, SD-WAN, and WAN connectivity.
• Design, implement, and improve network solutions while diagnosing connectivity and performance issues.
• Maintain datacenter infrastructure and assist with cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, disaster recovery, and backup initiatives.
• Coordinate escalations with hardware, software, and telecommunications providers and manage circuit-related issues.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, participate in change management, and maintain accurate network documentation and runbooks.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when required.
• Experience with technologies such as Veeam, Duo MFA, Citrix, SCCM, and Linux is beneficial but not required.

• Salary: Approximately $110,000 base salary
• Location: Clearwater, FL 33760, onsite
• Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm preferred; Direct Hire might be considered
• Support, troubleshoot, and maintain complex network and infrastructure environments across multiple customer environments.
• Configure and support Cisco-based routing, switching, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, VPNs, VLANs, QoS, SD-WAN, and WAN connectivity.

Job Requirements

• CCNA‑level networking knowledge or equivalent hands‑on experience with strong Cisco routing and switching skills.
• Experience supporting Cisco networking technologies, including Catalyst or Nexus switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with SD‑WAN, VPNs, WAN troubleshooting, VLANs, QoS, and advanced firewall administration.
• Experience supporting managed services, consulting, or enterprise datacenter environments with multiple customer or business priorities.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization technologies, and related infrastructure platforms.

The position follows a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule. Some evening and weekend work may be required for scheduled maintenance, escalations, or on‑call support.

Experience with technologies such as Veeam, Duo MFA, Citrix, SCCM, and Linux is beneficial but not required.
