Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a Network Engineer with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance to design transport networks and manage advanced virtualization and routing.

You will work across global operations to implement security requirements, troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VPN/VoIP, and integrate RF, optical, and satellite communications across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing upgrades and routine network O&M.
• Identifying INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.
• Complex configuration management for network systems.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN and VoIP network issues.
• Work with Cisco IOS including switching, routing, segment routing, and other technologies.
• RF and spectrum engineering; optical networking; satellite communications engineering.

We are seeking a Network Engineer with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance who will be responsible for transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, and advanced virtual networking technologies in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Performing upgrades and performing routine network operations and maintenance (O&M).
• Identifying and implementing INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.
• Complex configuration management techniques and requirements for managing network systems.
• Network operating and maintenance concepts and methods used to troubleshoot network problems for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN and VoIP.
• Cisco IOS, including switching, routing, segment routing and other technologies.
• Radio Frequency (RF) and spectrum engineering.
• Optical networking technology and engineering.
• Satellite communications engineering.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred.

Experience

• Experience in network/cloud/virtual environment engineering or a related role.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for this position.
