Hours: Mon - Fri 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
General Summary: As a Network Engineer, you will develop and manage our network infrastructure to support business operations and objectives. This includes configuring network devices, ensuring network security, and optimizing performance to meet the Bank’s requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Note: For key positions managing or overseeing risk, training and certifications may be required to ensure adherence to current security practices.
Essential Functions: All associates must understand and adhere to Banker Standards and practice SGNNT (smile, greet, name, name, thank you). Follow policies and procedures established by Capital City Bank and related entities.
Additional Support and Training: Provide support to managers and colleagues. Complete all required bank training within deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Usually acquired through college education in network systems and 3-5 years of LAN/WAN experience. Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred. Knowledge of switches, routers, servers, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VoIP, QoS, OSPF, and BGP is required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required. Relevant experience may substitute for education.
