Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience for Network Engineer positions.
• 7+ years of experience for Senior Network Engineer positions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Experience supporting Azure networking and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Sophos-to-Palo Alto firewall migrations.
• Strong routing and switching expertise.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN technologies.
• Experience implementing and managing firewall HA configurations.
• Knowledge of enterprise wireless networking solutions, particularly Ruckus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Position Summary

Four Ways Consulting is seeking experienced Network Engineers and Senior Network Engineers to support enterprise network modernization, security transformation, and cloud connectivity initiatives. The successful candidates will play a critical role in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing secure network infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments.

Detailed Job Description

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting enterprise-wide networking and security infrastructures while helping drive network modernization projects. The role requires strong expertise in next-generation firewalls, Azure networking, routing and switching, VPN technologies, and wireless infrastructures. Particular emphasis will be placed on Palo Alto Networks solutions and migration projects involving the transition from Sophos environments to Palo Alto platforms. You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and operations teams to maintain high availability, improve performance, and strengthen security across business-critical environments. Key Responsibilities
