Premier Staffing Partners, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a permanent role in Middle Tennessee. Design, administer, and support enterprise LAN/WAN across multiple locations, with emphasis on Palo Alto firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure.

The role includes virtualization (VMware, Citrix), storage, VoIP, and senior escalation guidance. Onsite availability is required as needed; candidates in the Middle Tennessee area are preferred.

• Recommend improvements to architecture, monitoring, security, resiliency, and processes.

Currently seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a permanent opportunity with an established organization in Middle Tennessee. This position will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for the design, administration, optimization, and support of enterprise network and infrastructure services across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking, Palo Alto firewalls, routing and switching, wireless infrastructure, VMware, Citrix, and storage technologies. This role will also provide senior-level troubleshooting, technical guidance, and escalation support while contributing to infrastructure projects, security initiatives, and network architecture improvements.

*Important: This opportunity requires candidates to reside in the Middle Tennessee area and have the flexibility to work onsite when business or project needs require it.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Configure, patch, support, and lifecycle-manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and related network technologies.
• Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including firewall rules, policies, performance, and connectivity.
• Lead root-cause analysis for complex network performance, availability, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain and support VMware virtual environments, Citrix VDI, and enterprise storage systems.
• Administer and optimize enterprise wireless network services.
• Support and troubleshoot VoIP and telecommunications systems.
• Serve as a senior escalation resource and provide technical guidance and mentoring to Help Desk and infrastructure team members.
• Lead or participate in network upgrades, infrastructure projects, incident response, and change-management activities.
• Maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and support procedures.
• Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, and business teams to maintain secure, scalable, and highly available technology environments.
• Recommend improvements to network architecture, monitoring, security, resiliency, and operational processes.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive enterprise network/infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong experience with enterprise routing, switching, wireless networking, and multi-site network environments.
• Experience supporting virtualization and storage infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues through root-cause resolution.
• Experience working within established change-management, security, documentation, and compliance processes.
• Network+, CCNA, or equivalent professional experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related discipline preferred.
