Job summary

GDIT seeks a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Network Engineering activities at JBPH-H, modernizing enterprise IT capabilities and strengthening mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.

You will plan, engineer, and support network capabilities, analyze performance, and develop designs and documentation to ensure secure, scalable operations in a demanding military environment.

Qualifications

• Technical training/certification(s) and 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Required Technical Skills: network engineering; MPE network design; routing and switching; transport integration; troubleshooting; technical documentation.
• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Preferred: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments.

Responsibilities

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Requirements:Technical training/certification(s) and 12+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment (or B.S. in Computer Science and 8+ years of experience)
• Required Technical Skills: network engineering; MPE network design; routing and switching; transport integration; troubleshooting; technical documentation.
• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret.
• Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.
• Location: On customer site at JBPH-H.

The likely salary range for this position is $121,550 - $164,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
