The Amatriot Group is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support US BICES-X operations. You will work on a globally distributed team delivering secure network services in a robust DoD environment.

The role requires 10+ years in network engineering, a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, and CCNA Security or higher certifications. Expect hands-on responsibilities, collaboration with vendors, and adherence to security and ITSM standards.

• 10+ years of directly related experience in network engineering.
• BA/BS in related field; additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Must possess and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• 8570/8140 compliance required; CCNA Security; higher certs such as CCNP Security or CISSP are acceptable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of network analysis and design principles, methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, terminals, and related network hardware/software.
• Proficiency with desktop operating systems and applications.

Responsabilidades

• Provides advice and training to end-users and less-experienced network personnel.
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves network incidents and problems.
• Provides network/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
• Determines network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
• Knowledge of the hardware/software and equipment associated with US BICES-X.
• Participates in special projects as assigned.
• Analyzes, administers and maintains voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
• Manages usage and performance of voice, video and/or data networks.
• Maintains network to meet Enterprise Service Availability and SLA requirements.
• Utilizes ITSM principles to identify, categorize, prioritize, elevate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
• Maintains network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Develops and implements network-related procedures and standards.
• Interfaces with vendors to ensure resolution during outages or periods of reduced performance.
• Assists with development of third-party monitoring actions and procedures for network infrastructure.

Position Overview

US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoW intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world challenges on a cross-functional, fast paced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides advice and training to end-users and less-experienced network personnel

• Maintains network to meet Enterprise Service Availability and Service Level Agreement requirements.
• Utilizes IT Service Management (ITSM) Principles to identify, categorize, prioritize, elevate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
• Maintains network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Participates in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.
• Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.
• Assists with development of third-party monitoring actions and procedures for network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of directly related experience in network engineering.
• BA/BS in related field, additional experience may substitute for degree
• Must possess and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• This position is deemed a DoW IA Workforce, IAT Level II position and requires 8570/8140 compliance. A candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • CCNA Security. Higher certifications such as CCNP Security, or CISSP are acceptable.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network analysis and design.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and software.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Juniper route/switch knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting type-1 encryptors.
• Knowledge and experience with CUCM and VOIP administration.
