Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise networks across on-premises and cloud environments in Virginia. You will handle operations, troubleshooting, implementation, and optimization of routing, switching, firewall, wireless, and hybrid cloud technologies.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, familiarity with Agile and SRE methods, and hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and network security.

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to support and maintain complex enterprise network environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for network operations, troubleshooting, implementation, and ongoing optimization of routing, switching, firewall, wireless, and hybrid cloud network technologies.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience

• Working knowledge of Agile and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies.

• Experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting technologies such as Ansible, Python, and Terraform.

• Working knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto FW, SD-WAN, NGFW, Aruba Wireless, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Meraki, Netbox.

• Understanding of AI concepts and fundamentals is preferred.
