Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Network Solutions Engineer in Duluth, MN to lead enterprise networking projects and customer engagements. You will own end-to-end deployments across routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, wireless, and managed network infrastructure, and serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues.

Qualifications

• Senior-level network engineer with hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• Strong experience with routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and wireless.
• Ability to deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise/managed switches, firewalls, VLANs, Layer 3 routing, wireless controllers and WAPs, managed networking appliances.
• Experience leading network implementations, upgrades, and migration projects.
• CCNP certification or equivalent hands-on networking expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own customer-facing implementations across routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, wireless, and managed network infrastructure.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues and collaborate with customers and project teams.
• Walk into customer environments, assess networks, define technical approaches, and own the implementation from start to finish.
• Occasionally perform ad hoc on-site visits when local to Duluth.

Job Description:Insight Global is seeking a Senior Network Solutions Engineer for a top managed IT and professional services client. This individual will serve as a senior technical resource focused primarily on enterprise networking technologies, taking ownership of customer-facing implementations across routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, wireless, and managed network infrastructure. The ideal candidate can walk into a customer environment, assess the existing network, identify issues, develop the technical approach, and own the implementation rather than simply execute assigned tickets. This person will also serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues and work directly with customers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

If local to Duluth this role requires ad hoc customer site visits

Rates for this position are between 34 and 36 / HR

Skills and Requirements

• Senior-level network engineer with strong hands-on enterprise networking experience
• Strong experience with routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and wireless networking
• Ability to deploy, upgrade, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure
• Strong Layer 2 / Layer 3 troubleshooting capabilities
• Hands-on experience with:

• Broader infrastructure experience with Active Directory, servers, and migrations
