Job summary

EOA Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer for a full-time subcontract role supporting a U.S. Government customer.

You will provide end-to-end network design, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades across WAN/LAN environments. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, testing, and optimizing network systems, troubleshooting performance issues, and coordinating with system engineers to ensure mission operations with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• 12 years of experience in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
• 4 additional years of network engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years’ experience with network tools: Whats Up Gold and NetFlow.
• 5+ years’ experience with SIGINT tools: Common View/Max View, Triton, and TUMMS.

Description

EOA Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will provide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks.

• Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents


• Implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment


• Analyzes network characteristics (e.g. traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes and throughput), troubleshoots problems and recommends procurement of and/or modifications to network components.

The Level 3 Network Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

• Design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test and provide support for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologies


• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management


• Configure and optimize the network to connect various front-end and back-end components


• Coordinate with the system engineering and dataflow efforts to ensure proper mission operations with minimal down time


• Facilitate the implementation of high-speed, scalable, fault-tolerant network topologies as applicable to WAN and LAN design.


• Implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load-balancing, VPN's, firewall contexts, and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate


• Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput through design analysis and network performance monitoring tools


• Lead large efforts of dynamic requirements and scale


• Work with System engineers and cross organizational teams to define requirements.


• Resolve complex network problems, operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment and network simulators

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

• Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance


• Twelve (12) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.


• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required.


• Four (4) years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.


• Five (5) years’ experience with the following Net\\work Tools; Whats Up Gold and Netflow.


• Five (5) years’ experience with the following SIGINT Tools; Common View/Max View, Triton, and TUMMS.
