Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a network engineer focused on data center and enterprise networking to upgrade or develop enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot complex network issues, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical networks.

You will support connectivity to private cloud and co-located hosted infrastructure with public cloud integration, design connectivity for colocation data centers, and assist with merger activity related to network

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in data center networking environments for a medium to large enterprise.
  • 8+ years of experience with Cisco switches, routers, and Nexus platforms.
  • 8+ years of experience with routing protocols (BGP/EIGRP/OSPF).
  • Experience deploying and managing Cisco ACI.
  • Experience implementing cloud edge designs linking on-prem networks to different cloud environments.
  • Experience with Aruba SilverPeak Edge Connect devices.
  • Experience in multi-vendor networks, network monitoring and logging systems, and automation (Ansible, Python).
  • Ability to respond to on-call incidents and network event escalations.
  • Ability to use ServiceNow for daily IT tasks.

You Have:
  • 8+years of experience in data center networking environments for a medium to large enterprise
  • 8+ years of experience with Cisco switches, routers, and Nexus platforms
  • 8+ years of experience with configuration and support of routing protocols, including BGP, EIGRP, or OSPF
  • Experience deploying and managing Cisco ACI
  • Experience implementing cloud edge designs linking on‑premises networks to different cloud environments
  • Experience with Aruba SilverPeak Edge Connect devices
  • Experience in multi‑vendor network environments, network monitoring and logging systems, and automation technologies, including Ansible and Python
  • Ability to respond to on call and emergency incidents and support network event escalations
  • Ability to use ServiceNow for daily IT tasks
  • HS diploma or GED
