An international company in NYC is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Network Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in network and security solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Configure internal-office server, PC, network, telephony hardware, and software with security considerations for customers.
• Perform on-site installation of server, PC, network, telephony hardware, and software for customers.
• Troubleshoot remote and on-site server, PC, network, telephony hardware, and software issues for customers.
• Support server, PC, network, telephony hardware, and software administration for customers.
• Install and troubleshoot at site (business trips required).
• Document work records and project details for installations and configurations per customer.
• Record and archive troubleshooting solutions and countermeasures for future reference.
• Update team/project leader on project status and troubleshooting progress.
• Conduct product research and market trend analysis as directed by team leader.
• Draft proposals and quotations for customers as requested.
• Manage projects, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and completion.
• Provide incident response support based on situational analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field preferred.
• Over 2 years of network engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and other major software vendors.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and other network devices.
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows server operations and maintenance.
• Familiarity with security software and solutions for servers and PCs.
