Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. seeks a Network Engineer II to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across global operations. You will work with Cisco Catalyst, Meraki Wireless, Versa SD-WAN, Cisco ISE, and Azure networking to deliver secure, scalable connectivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology.
2+ years of network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Strong routing and switching knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP).
Hands-on experience with firewall tech, VPNs, and network security principles.
Experience with Cisco/Meraki/SD-WAN and Azure networking.
Familiarity with TACACS/RADIUS/MAB and ISE.
Nice-to-have: Python, Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell.
Certs like CCNA/CCNP or Azure networking are a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-connected environments.
Support datacenter network designs for high availability and disaster recovery.
Configure Cisco Catalyst, Meraki, and Versa SD‑WAN platforms per standards.
Implement firewall policies, segmentation, and secure access controls.
Develop and support segmented OT networks linking manufacturing with corporate networks.
Assist with cloud connectivity and Azure networking configurations.
Lead design, testing, and post-deployment support for network projects.
Maintain documentation and participate in change management and reviews.
