• Experience managing and troubleshooting multi‑vendor environments (Juniper, Cisco, BIRD, FRR, Cumulus).
• Understanding of end‑to‑end data flows and traffic patterns.
• Highly organized self‑starter comfortable working with cross‑functional teams.

Network Engineer II

The Network Engineering team designs, automates, and supports the global network powering Akamai's products and services. This role focuses on designing and implementing a global network infrastructure, developing operational standards, and addressing routing and data center fabric issues to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

Compensation

United States base salary for this position ranges from $88,900 to $160,100 per year. Compensation can include incentive bonuses, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
