Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a Network Engineer I to support and troubleshoot enterprise networking, security, and virtualization across a large, distributed environment. The role requires collaboration with infrastructure teams and adherence to regulatory requirements.

The candidate should have a BS in CS or related field, experience with Citrix XenApp, EMC SAN, and Data Domain/Dedup technologies, plus strong WAN/LAN networking skills and on-call availability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 1–3 years’ related experience.
  • Citrix XenApp farm and EMC CLARiiON SAN experience preferred.
  • Experience with Data Domain/Avamar/DR/dedup technologies preferred.
  • Understanding HIPAA/SOX regulatory requirements for info security.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and troubleshooting of routing and switching enterprise technologies.
  • Troubleshoot WAN routing (BGP/EIGRP/OSPF/FHRP) and multi-layer overlay networking.
  • Assist in security technologies including firewalling and VPNs per regulations.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain servers, storage, backup, and virtual environments.
  • Maintain and support systems in a 24x7, distributed environment across U.S. bases.
  • Document systems and follow change management processes.
