Job summary

Saragossa is seeking a network leader to own and evolve the firm’s global trading and research networks, from market data distribution to GPU-accelerated compute backends.

You will design low-latency networks, monitor and capture wire traffic, and drive infrastructure-as-code practices across multiple regions as the firm expands. Chicago or New York-based, with a compensation package up to $300k base plus strong bonus potential.

Qualifications

• A few years of networking experience, including real-time or finance-focused environments.
• Experience with high-frequency trading settings or demanding trading networks is preferred.
• Familiarity with monitoring, packet capture, and diagnostics.

Do you want to own the network a trading firm can’t run without?

This isn’t a ticket queue or a role looking after someone else’s design. You’ll own the networks across research, corporate and production trading, and you’ll shape how they grow as the firm expands globally.

On the trading side, you’ll design and build low-latency, multicast-heavy networks covering market data distribution and exchange connectivity. On the research side, you’ll scale the network behind a growing GPU grid and high-performance storage clusters. You’ll also look after the corporate and office networks, including new office buildouts, and take the footprint into new regions as the firm enters new markets, using repeatable designs rather than one-off builds.

You’ll own monitoring and packet capture, so the firm always knows what’s happening on the wire, what changed and what broke. You’ll also move network configuration toward infrastructure-as-code, with changes version controlled, reviewed and repeatable.

We’re looking for someone who has a few years under their bealt in networking, including real time in finance, ideally in HFT or trading environments where you’ve built and run complex envrioments.

Compensation is up to $300k base + bonus which can be up to and if not more than 100%.
